View and scenary it's great but the service of transportation was poor, cable car to kurobeko very full and too crowded.Feel sorry to person in middle can move nor see anything.I don't feel save inside overcrowded box that hanging high in a single rope.If you go for individual trip be ready to get upset for your queue line easily hijacked in the name of group tourist, that often arrogant and noisy.

The Kurobe Dam (黒部ダム) is Japan's tallest dam at 186 meters. It was constructed over a seven year period and was completed in 1963. Many difficulties were encountered in the process, and over 170 people lost their lives to the project. The dam has since been supporting a hydropower plant in its supply of electricity to the Kansai Region.
